DAAD-funded alumni and other German alumni are often spread across Ghana and active in different subject-related networks. Thus, the DAAD alumni network aims to bring alumni together to strengthen their networks and foster sustainable interdisciplinary exchanges as well as to create a platform to bring together scientific expertise from different disciplines.

To create a DAAD/ German alumni association in Ghana, we are trying to strengthen the regional networks, to keep the German-Ghana relations active in achieving global sustainability. The DAAD Information Centre Accra in June, 2019 organised an conference with the participation of about 110 alumni from accross the country.  At this meeting, DAAD Alumni Ambassadors were elected as focal points for alumni accross the country.

If you want to be a part of the DAAD Ghana Alumni Network, you can get in contact with our alumni ambassadors.

4 zones were created, namely:

  • Zone 1: Upper East, Upper West and Northern Regions

  • Zone 3: Greater Accra, Eastern and Volta Regions
  • Zone 4: Central and Western Regions
