DAAD Alumni Workshops
To create a DAAD/ German alumni association in Ghana, we are trying to strengthen the regional networks, to keep the German-Ghana relations active in achieving global sustainability. The DAAD Information Centre Accra in June, 2019 organised an conference with the participation of about 110 alumni from accross the country. At this meeting, DAAD Alumni Ambassadors were elected as focal points for alumni accross the country.

4 zones were created, namely:
- Zone 1: Upper East, Upper West and Northern Regions
- Zone 2: Ashanti and Brong-Ahafo Regions
- Zone 3: Greater Accra, Eastern and Volta Regions
- Zone 4: Central and Western Regions
The alumni ambassadors
Dr. Mustapha Alhassan is an alumni ambassador for Zone 1 (Upper East, Upper West and Northern Regions).
Dr. Alhassan is a Senior Lecturer, Public Health Psychologist and a Head of Department in the School of Public Health, University for Development Studies, Tamale.
Dr. Millicent Awialie Akaateba is an alumni ambassador for zone 1 (Upper East, Upper West and Northern Regions).
She is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Planning and Land Management of SD Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies in Wa.
Dr. Emmanuel Appiah Kubi is the alumni ambassador for zone 2 (Ashanti and Brong-Ahafo regions).
He is a Senior Lecturer at the Kumasi Campus of the University of Education Winneba.
Dr. Akosua Amaka-Otchere is the assistant alumni ambassador for zone 2 (Ashanti and Brong-Ahafo regions).
Currently, she is a lecturer at the Department of Planning at KNUST.
Dr. Richard Blay is the alumni ambassador for zone 3 (Greater Accra, Eastern and Volta regions).
Currently, he is a lecturer at the School of Biomedical and Allied Health Science in Accra.
Dr. Victoria Nyarkoah Sam-Abaidoo is the assistant alumni ambassador for zone 3 (Greater Accra, Eastern and Volta regions).
She is currently a lecturer at the University of Professional Studies in Accra.
Dr. Benjamin Aboagye is the alumni ambassador for zone 4 (Central and Western regions).
He is currently a lecturer at the University of Cape Coast.
