With her project: “Breaking the wall of post harvest losses in Africa”, Vanessa Ivy Dodoo won the 2024 Falling Walls Lab Ghana competition. There were 17 other finalists who were invited to compete on the 31st of May 2024 at the WACCBIP Conference Hall, University of Ghana. In 2024, Falling Walls Lab Ghana received a total of 111 applications out of which the 18 finalists were selected to present their projects. The projects were from different subject areas and directions.
On winning the Lab in Ghana, Vanessa also received a travel grant to represent Ghana at the Falling Walls Lab Finale in Berlin in November 2024.

Enviro6ense is a solar-powered device that monitors air quality, predict, detect and analyze fire-outbreak. The data collected are transmitted into our database and analyzed to help the fire service know exactly when and how the fire started based on the environmental changes from the six sensors.
