DAAD Research Ambassadors 2025-2027

Research Ambassadors are distinguished alumni who have successfully pursued research opportunities in Germany and are passionate about sharing their experiences. They serve as key resource persons in their home countries, offering guidance on research and funding opportunities in Germany, and promoting Germany as a leading destination for academic research. Targeting doctoral candidates and early-career researchers, Research Ambassadors help bridging information gaps by providing firsthand insights into the German research landscape. To ensure credibility and relevance, all Research Ambassadors hold at least a doctoral degree, equipping them to speak authoritatively on research pathways, academic life, and funding frameworks in Germany. The current cohort (2025–2027) includes selected alumni from Ghana, Cameroon, and Nigeria, who will serve in this role over the next two years.
