These fellowships are made available and funded by the DAAD to promote international academic exchange as well as educational co-operation with developing countries through a variety of funding and scholarship programs.
DAAD In-country / In-region Summer School Scholarship 2023
The summer schools are designed as an exclusive additional offer for the DAAD’s In-Country and In-Region programme, so in order to apply, you have to be an active scholarship holder as of 1 January 2023 (if your scholarship expires before or starts after that date, participation is not possible).
The scholarship programme “Leadership for Africa” (LfA) aims to support the academic qualification and advancement of young refugees and national scholars from Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Niger and Senegal at higher education institutions in Germany.
The application procedure follows a two-step process. First, applicants submit application to the host institution and then, shortlisted applicants will be asked to submit their application via the DAAD portal.
