The DAAD Information Centre Accra has over the years been organizing annual PhD proposal writing workshop. This is a great avenue to support prospective PhD candidates fine-tune their proposals for a successful doctoral programme application.
So far, we have received a lot of positive feedback from attendees. Last year, the event took place on the 23rd and 24th of August with a subject area split. Participants in the fields of natural science and engineering as well as agricultural sciences were engaged over a day’s workshop on the 23rd whilst participants from the fields of social sciences and humanities took part in the workshop on the 24th August, 2018.
There were a total of about a hundred participants in all. Considering the high interest, the DAAD Information Centre Accra will roll out 2 PhD proposal writing workshops this year. One will be held in Accra and the second event in Kumasi. This will be in the beginning of the second half of 2019. Please check our events calendar for updates.
